Rev. George Haigler, III is the Founder and Organizing Pastor of the New Day Community Worship and Outreach Ministries, a virtual online fellowship and ministry.

Rev. Haigler is also the Executive Director and CEO of the Grassroots Organization (soon to be Non Profit) A Better Choices Criminal Justice Reform Symposiums, which seeks to steer mostly at-risk, inner city youth away from mediocrity and the pitfalls of the American Criminal Justice System, towards collegiate/academic matriculation, internships, apprenticeships, Graduate Schools, Post-Graduate Schools, Professional and Career employment and entrepreneurial pursuits and trades.

Rev. Haigler is a bi-vocational, Ordained Protestant Minister and as such has worked simultaneously while preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ! (Rev. Haigler is an Ordained Baptist Preacher, having been ordained at the First Baptist Church of Crown Heights in Brooklyn, New York, by the former Senior Pastor, the Rev. Dr. Daryl Bloodsaw). He is the former Constituent Services Bureau Representative of the New York State Attorney General’s Office and has served similarly, previously at the New York City Public Advocate’s Office. Both positions were under the tutelage and management of the Honorable Ms. Letitia James. Rev. Haigler has experience and expertise in community liaison efforts and advocacy for children, youth, young people and young adults, as well as senior citizens.

Rev. Haigler has been preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ for 38 years (March 25, 1984 to Present) and is the former Pastor of the now-defunct Trinity United Methodist Church of Morrisania in the Bronx, New York, in the New York Annual Conference and the Metropolitan District (July 1, 2011-June 30, 2016). During his tenure at Trinity, the church convened community feeding and clothing exchange programs. He created the ‘Conference Call Prayer Line and Intercessory Prayer Group’ which meets daily, Mondays through Fridays, for half an hour in the morning (presently from 7:00 a.m.-7:30 a.m.). The prayer line facilitates persons who call in from a cross section of diverse backgrounds, denominations, cultures and class, and at least 10 states across America. The Prayer Line meets five days a week and is eleven years in operation. Rev. Haigler has served congregations in New York City and vicinity and a few churches in the USA in various capacities, including Lead Pastor, Assistant Pastor, Associate Minister, Youth Pastor, Program Administrator, Pastoral Care Minister, and Evangelist.

Rev. Haigler conducts Revivals, Seminars, Workshops, and Symposiums on many subject matters. These included, but, are not limited to, Criminal Justice Reform, Youth Empowerment, HBCU College Fairs and Information events and academic youth mentoring. He is working towards publishing his first self-published book for 2022, entitled, “A Few Anecdotes About Wisdom While Sitting At The Feet Of Griots And Prophets”. He also writes Gospel Music Lyrics, Original Poetry, Plays, Movie Shorts, essays and sermons.

Rev. Haigler holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a Minor in Business Administration from Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina, where his is a May 1993 Graduate. He is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity degree and is pursuing other continuing education in the non-profit sector.

Rev. Haigler is the son of the late Rev. George Haigler, Jr. and the late Mrs. Inez Brenda Johnson Haigler.
Rev. Haigler is married to the former Ms. Renessta Keola Olds (now, Haigler) and is the father of two children, Nicole Linez Haigler and George Haigler, IV. He is the grandfather to George’s son, Giovanni Corbin Watt and has one niece, Danielle Lena Haigler.

Rev. Haigler’s two mottos are: “I love to tell the story of Jesus and His Love”, and, “I’m just a nobody, trying to tell everybody, about somebody, who can save anybody”!
