The Right Reverend [Bishop] Lee McClain, Christian Evangelist, has been a "Born Again Trinitarian Believer" for over 70 years. He is a member of the Melchisedec Missionary Baptist Church and has been affiliated with the Progressive National Baptist Convention (PNBC). He was called into the Gospel ministry in 1989. In 1994 he started "CHRIST THE SAVIOR MINISTRY," a personal evangelistic outreach ministry, with representation in Africa, Guyana, South America, and India. He is a native of Arkansas, but grew up in Charleston, MO.
Bishop McClain, was a career soldier, having served in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. He received numerous commendations and medals. He is a 1974 graduate of the Command Sergeant Major's Academy, Fort Bliss, TX. He retired in 1976, with the rank of Sergeant Major. He also retired in 1995, as a Department of the Army Civilian, Equal Employment Opportunity Analyst, to enter full-time Christian Ministry.

He was licensed and ordained to preach the Gospel at the Melchisedec Missionary Baptist Church, Suitland, Maryland, in 1998, 1999, respectively.
Bishop McClain has a bachelor's and a master's degree, in Public Administration, from Bowie State University, Bowie, MD, and continued biblical studies at the Washington Bible College, Lanham, MD, majoring in New Testament Theology. He is a former facilitator of the Navigator's Discipleship Training Course: GROWING STRONG IN GOD'S FAMILY [Colossians 2:7 Series]. He was a devoted Sunday School Teacher and Superintendent for more than 10 years.

Bishop McClain served 30+ years as the Chaplain, Prince George's County Chapter, Southern Christian Leadership Conference [SCLC], member of Pastor's United in Prayer and Sharing [PUPS] and the Missionary Baptist Ministers' Conference [DC and Vicinity], former Director of Foreign Missions for Evangelism [Bishop], The Master's Circle Christian Fellowship, International, Inc., Bishop in The Evangelical Episcopal Churches, in Apostolic Succession, and former Director of Evangelism, Humanity Fest, Inc. of Washington, DC.

As an "INDEPENDENT CHRISTIAN EVANGELIST, he has been taught by the Holy Spirit, and mentored by some of God's greatest theologians and teachers. He started the Christ The Savior Evangelistic Ministry, which, from 2007-2014 operated "Bible Schools" in Liberia, West Africa, teaching Churches to "CROSS OVER” TO NEW TESTAMENT BIBLE THEOLOGY FOR "PRACTICAL DISCIPLESHIP EVANGELISM TRAINING." He wrote a weekly religious column, published in the Prince George's County [MD] Post Newspaper for 7 years; he was a weekly radio preacher for over 5 years, and for the past 20+ years he has been the Producer and Host of The Ask Rev Lee, Religious Talk Show, on Bowie MD Community TV [Comcast Channel 11 and Verizon Channel 77]. He is married to the former Norma Helen Reynolds. He resides in Lanham, Maryland.
