Pastor Belton is the founder and Senior Pastor of New Destiny Church and Ministries, located in Brownsville Brooklyn. Pastor Belton believes and lives by the scriptures that state "I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me." (Philippians 4:13)
Pastor Belton completed degrees at Midlands Technical College, where he earned an Associate Degree in Telecommunication Systems Management with a concentration in Computer Technology. He furthered his studies by earning a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management from DeVry University. He is a graduate of Erskine Theological Seminary, where he received a Master of Divinity degree. Pastor Belton is currently attending Alliance Theological Seminary in his pursuit of a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership. Pastor Belton is employed at Brookdale Hospital as Director of Pastoral Care. He has a passion to teach, train, and transform lay people as well as ministers.
Pastor Belton is an innovative leader, a dynamic teacher, and an astute theologian. His preaching style includes careful explanation of Scripture combined with credible and indelible stories from contemporary life that complement and strengthen the sermon. He paints a picture with life application of the text to his people. He accomplishes this while maintaining a dynamic and energetic preaching tradition of church and culture in an atmosphere of praise and worship.
Pastor Belton is married to a lovely woman and a dynamic Christian preacher in her own right, Mrs. Thelma Belton, and they have two wonderful adult children Adriane and Darius.
