Rev. Morais G. Quissico is the senior pastor of St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Brooklyn. Prior to coming to St. Mark's, Rev. Quissico was the senior pastor of Epworth United Methodist Church in the Bronx, from February 2013 through June 2019. While in the Bronx, Rev. Quissico also served as president of the Clergy Coalition of the New York Police Department’s 44th Precinct where he helped fight crime and improve police-community relations.

Currently he is the chair of the New York Conference's Connectional Ministry Vision Table (CMVT); which sets and implements the vision, mission and core values of the New York Annual Conference. He is actively involved in various ministries of the Long Island District that seek to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

Over the past three decades, Rev. Quissico's ordained ministry has impacted communities around the world. He served churches in Mozambique, acting as national disaster relief coordinator for the United Methodist Committee On Relief (UMCOR) after natural calamities in Mozambique. In New York, Quissico served as Executive Secretary for Africa at the General Board of Global Ministries where he provided oversight to the work of missionaries placed in Africa and coordinated church development projects and funding.

Quissico served as President of the Policy Council at PS5 Ellen Lurie school in Manhattan; President of the Policy Council and Trustee Board Member of the Children's Aid Society in New York City, where he helped shape policies and funding impacting students and their families in New York City's law income communities. He also served as Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees of Habitat For Humanity International. Quissico is married with 2 children. As one of his favorite Bible verse states it, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Phillippians 4:13)
